What we'll do

Our platform, in three parts.

Fiscal responsibility and infrastructure

  • Develop transparent plans, realistic budgets and funding options for the Police Department, Community Center, Town Hall and Court, and Pine Brook flood control, with public input before decisions are made.
  • Put a 10-year plan in place to maintain borough buildings, vehicles and equipment before costly emergencies happen.
  • Aggressively pursue county, state and federal grants to repair and modernize Caldwell's water, sewer and stormwater systems, protecting public health, reducing flooding and easing the burden on local taxpayers.
  • Host public information sessions on topics like recycling, rain gardens and water quality.

An affordable, inclusive community

  • Improve policies for trees, sidewalks, utilities and sewers, and replace lost trees with healthier, longer-lasting species.
  • Treat residents with respect, listen to every voice, and make borough government accessible to everyone.
  • Protect the character of our historic neighborhoods.
  • Support our small businesses and a vibrant downtown while keeping the quality of life that makes Caldwell a great place to live.

Good government

  • Restore Zoom access for every council meeting.
  • Make sure there is open, timely public discussion before every important council vote.
  • Expand senior services, including property tax relief, transportation, and health and legal services.
  • Protect rent-control safeguards, help seniors age in place, and support responsible affordable housing.

Practical leadership. Responsible spending. A more affordable, transparent Caldwell.
